On this page I will tell about my experiences with the international student organisation AEGEE. AEGEE is an abbreviation for Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe; in short the European student union. The purpose of AEGEE is to promote the integration and cooperation of young people in Europe. AEGEE-Europe forms a network of 270 locals in more than fourty countries and has approximately 17.000 members! The AEGEE locals organise a lot of activities througout the year where you can meet new people and have fun :P
I am currently member of AEGEE-Enschede. In (at least) one aspect this local is unique in the AEGEE network: AEGEE-Enschede has its own pub called Asterion!!! Regretabbly, due to my new job I have not so much time to visit Asterion anymore, but you might find me there... ;-)
